Born in southern Brazil and raised on the sun-soaked island of Florianópolis, Mila Pires has always been drawn to the sea. She carried that spirit with her when she made her home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii — one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.

In 2006, she launched Mila The Label with one unwavering conviction: that beachwear should be as free-spirited as the women who wear it. A journey to Bali unlocked the soul of the brand — handcrafted pieces, woven stitch by stitch by talented artisan women who pour their skill and heart into every single item.

We work directly with skilled artisan women in Bali and Hawaii, where every piece is designed and manufactured with care, quality and intention.
